Mr wanker (my woodwork teacher from school) better be happy now.. First side is complete, and sanded, needs a tiny plane just to get a few dinks out the side, but its all worked out well and will be easy to do the last 3 bits all at the same time along the length of the plank I have and then chop it up into sections afterwards..
Side view..
Angled view..
Along length!
Death star trench view..
In the end i didnt use the jig pieces I had made, was too fiddly to clamp into the mitre saw, so I used the chamfer bit on the router and took it right down to the line, then repeated from the top side. I was left with a nice bit of wood that just fell off afterwards, and now i understand how that "bit" works too, so i'm fairly happy that my education continues..
More soon..

The way you've laid it out on that red background it looks like you're presenting it as finished LOL
